MAX6922AQH+D is a 76V, multi-output, vacuum-fluorescent display (VFD) tube driver. For easy display control, the active-high BLANK input forces all driver outputs low, turning the display off, and automatically puts the IC into shutdown mode. Display intensity may also be controlled by directly pulse-width modulating the BLANK input. It has a serial interface data output, DOUT, allowing any number of devices to be cascaded on the same serial interface. Data is input using standard 4-wire serial interface (CLOCK, DATA, LOAD, BLANK) compatible with other VFD drivers and controllers. It is used in applications such as white goods, gaming machines, avionics, instrumentation, industrial weighing, security, telecom, VFD modules, and industrial control.

- Grid/anode supply voltage range from 8V to 76V, push-pull CMOS high-voltage output
- Outputs can be paralleled for higher current drive, BLANK input simplifies PWM intensity control

- Logic supply operating current is 81µA typ at (all outputs OUT- low, CLK = idle, TA = +25°C)
- Rise and fall time DOUT is 80ns typical at (CDOUT = 10pF, 3V to 4.5V)
- DOUT propagation delay is 120ns typical at (CDOUT = 10pF, 3.0V to 4.5V)
- Tube supply operating current is 2mA typical at (all outputs OUT- low, TA = +25°C)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
