The DV164037 is a MPLAB ICD-3 with explorer 16 Kit. It is a complete set of tools for application development using Microchip PIC24F, PIC24H and dsPIC33 16bit MCUs. It also includes a 9V universal power supply for the explorer 16 development board, a PIC24FJ128GA010 and a dsPIC33F256GP710 device (mounted on plug-in modules for quick replacement). The development board works as a demo board right from the box and also has the ability to extend its functionality through modular expansion interfaces. The explorer 16 board supports MPLAB ICD-3 for full emulation and debug capabilities, Also included with the kit is Microchip's MPLAB IDE. MPLAB C compiler for 16bit device lite edition, tutorials and user manuals on CD-ROM. The complete kit introduces the developer to Microchip's family of 16bit microcontrollers with all the tools for writing code in C, hardware debugging the application and programming devices.
